Hope for Mothers with Children in Heaven
In this book with an in-line workbook, there are places to reflect with God and feel understood by someone who has walked this road as Billie shares the details of her son's home-going. There is also a unique opportunity to honor your child by creating an actual frame (a craft project).

A Sacred Space
Despite every best intention, there’s a level of comfort few can give.
Friends and family can love us intensely yet lack the words or wisdom we need most. It’s not their fault. It’s difficult to comfort a mother for whom time has been split down the middle: before and after that day.
This is a space to:
Some mothers come here looking for a one-on-one conversation. Others want to be in a small circle of women who understand this kind of grief. Some are trying to care well for the mothers in their church. There is room for all of that here.
A Guide to Walk With You
Have you ever considered Mary?
Billie’s book, Grief Through the Eyes of Mary: Framing Child Loss from an Eternal Perspective, was written specifically for Christian mothers who have children in heaven.
Through Scripture, reflection, and gentle exercises, it invites you to:
You can work through it alone with God, with a trusted friend, Christian leader, or in a small group of mothers moving through the chapters together.
About the Author
Meet Billie J. Hawks
Billie J. Hawks is the author of Grief Through the Eyes of Mary: Framing Child Loss From an Eternal Perspective, a book written specifically for Christian mothers whose children have passed to the next life.
On November 27, 2020, Billie’s 18-year-old son stepped into heaven. In the deep valley that followed, God led her on a transformative journey through Scripture and into an extraordinary encounter with her son in the spirit realm; a moment she describes as a dream or trance, whether in the body or out of it, she does not know. In that sacred experience, God allowed her to see him.
From that encounter and the comfort and example she found in Mary’s faithfulness, this book was born. With the heart of a mother, friend, counselor and Sunday school teacher, Billie offers a compassionate yet biblically grounded and academically informed perspective.
Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a minor in Biblical Studies, she combines tender empathy with clear, Scripture-rich insight. Her writing is both encouraging and strong; inviting grieving mothers to frame their own loss with eternal hope rather than unending despair.
Billie is passionately committed to helping Christian mothers honor their child’s life, find comfort in God’s nearness, and walk forward with renewed strength and purpose. Whether you are newly grieving or years into the journey, her words remind you that you are seen, you are held, and your story is not over, because death does not have the final word.

When You’re Ready for Support
Ways to Connect
There is no schedule you have to keep and no “right” time to reach out. When you sense it would help to talk or listen in a more intentional way, these are the options available.
Private Sessions
A loving, one-on-one conversation for Christian mothers who want space to share their story, ask questions, and move forward with the intention to heal.
These sessions may include prayer, Scripture, and simple but powerful practice to frame your child’s life and home-going with words of truth.
Group Workshops
In-person sessions hosted through local churches or home groups for mothers who have children in heaven. Eight weeks of meeting once per week to discuss each of the eight chapters. We will also create an actual frame , a craft project directed by prompts within each chapter of the book.
